Day Centers

Not just see the smiling faces of those we serve everyday but work with them 1:1 in our day centers. Make a difference everyday by working in one of our day centers. These warm and welcoming communities provide socialization and enrichment for aging adults while providing the caregiver much needed respite.

Home Care

It takes a special person to dedicate their life to care for others. Our home care department does just that! Providing personalized care for aging adults in the comfort of their own homes with highly customized care plans. From program directors to home care aides, as a member of this department you make a direct impact on a person’s life.

CLS

Want to help individuals remain living in the community or transition them out of institutions back to living in the community? Community Living Services (CLS) is your calling. This revolutionary healthcare model works to keep aging adults in the community by finding stable housing, access to community resources, and reliable health care services.

Friendship Line

Be the warm voice and human connection isolated and lonely seniors need. This 24-hour warm line, the only accredited line in the US, is helping to combat loneliness one call at a time. So whether you are answering calls or helping out administratively you are helping to build “human connections that bind us to life.” – Dr. Patrick Arbore

Philanthropy

As a nonprofit organization protecting and advocating for seniors, IOA relies on its Philanthropy department to guide and lead the community, foundations, board members and staff in donating and raising funds. Money is raised from foundation and government grants, fundraising events, planned giving, direct appeals and capital campaigns.

Call Center

Be the to-go expert on all things aging as a member of the CONNECT Call Center Team. Institute on Aging's CONNECT call center is more than just that – it's a free resource center for anyone across the country seeking advice and expertise in the areas of aging and adults living with disabilities. Care/Case Management

Have a passion for helping seniors and adults living with disabilities thrive and live the best life possible? Then Care/Case management is for you! In this department you will develop and coordinate personalized care plans and serve as an advocate for health and independence.

Facilities

The Institute’s 20+ service programs simply wouldn’t function without our Facilities team. They are the ones that keep us fine tuned and running. Join this team and support the day to day processes of the organization and help to provide a safe, enjoyable and efficient environment for clients, employees, and visitors.

Finance

Those with a passion to help people and a strong financial sense thrive in our Finance department. This team manages budgets, financial planning and forecasting, and much more. You'll work with every department at IOA and ensure that programming decisions support IOA's financial health - both now and in the future.

Marketing

Let’s get creative! Marketing at IOA oversees brand marketing, advertising, digital marketing, public relations as well as communications both with external agencies and internal departments. Touching all aspects of the organization will keep you creative and engaged.

Human Resources

Human Resources at the Institute is a value-added partner and a resource for all IOA employees. Be at the epicenter of employees from wellness to policy, recruitment to on-boarding, as a member of this team you empower staff across the organization.

Strategic Services

Strategic Services advises IOA's long-range goal planning function. Drive strategic initiatives and support long-term growth plans and profitability goals. You'll provide analysis and recommendations on emerging capital sources, internal business performance, process improvements and more.
